I have tread through these meadows before
I have heard this water creek flow
It must have been in another life…
When I could fly, when I could sing
When I had wings,
It must have been another life…
I have had the time to stop
Sit by those bushes, Stare at the sky
It must have been another life...
I have felt this breeze before
And have rested on those branches hanging by
It must have been when I had the wings
It must have been another life…
I have smelled these flowers
I have played with butterflies
It must have been another life…
I slept one day and woke up without wings
I couldn’t play and couldn’t fly
I have no time to find out why…
I have to rush fast and alone
No one to share my pain
I have not been so careful before
So much to do and such less time…
I was living, cheerfully alive
Now, I just tread through life…
I have heard this water creek flow
It must have been in another life…
When I could fly, when I could sing
When I had wings,
It must have been another life…
I have had the time to stop
Sit by those bushes, Stare at the sky
It must have been another life...
I have felt this breeze before
And have rested on those branches hanging by
It must have been when I had the wings
It must have been another life…
I have smelled these flowers
I have played with butterflies
It must have been another life…
I slept one day and woke up without wings
I couldn’t play and couldn’t fly
I have no time to find out why…
I have to rush fast and alone
No one to share my pain
I have not been so careful before
So much to do and such less time…
I was living, cheerfully alive
Now, I just tread through life…
